Inlogik's first client using the new CabCharge module went live this month! The module significantly speeds up the reconciliation process of CabCharge etickets, cards and vouchers and provides our clients with more visibility and control of taxi travel.
How it works:
- The Cabcharge voucher administrator receives the vouchers and assigns them to cost centre owners (ProMaster User).
- The cost centre owner allocates the individual Cabcharge vouchers to employees and records the details into ProMaster as issued.
- The Cabcharge voucher is handed to the taxi driver. The voucher holder signs the receipts and keeps a copy to hand back to finance.
- Every statement period, the Cabcharge Data feed is downloaded into ProMaster and automatically reconciles (using the Cabcharge Voucher number, applied present cost centres and passenger name.). It is then posted via an export journal.
- Reports can then be generated on voucher numbers, when registered, distributed to, when and who issued to when reconciled, when posted, value and GL coding etc.
The benefits:
- Obtain better intelligence and visibility of Cabcharge spend.
- Reduce the opportunity for inappropriate and unapproved use of CabCharge which will lead to significant savings opportunities.
- No more rekeying in data which will lead to labour savings.
- Reduce the paper trail and lost information.
- Monitor unused and acquitted vouchers providing a register (voucher number, when registered, distributed to, when and who issued to, when reconciled, when posted, value, GL coding, details).
- Improves audit capabilities.
